My name is Leor Galil, and I’m a freelance journalist based out of Chicago. My work has appeared in a variety of media outlets, including: The A.V. I attended a graduate program at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and I graduated in August 2010. As an undergraduate, I went to Brandeis University, where I formed a club that organized underground concerts. I helped put together concerts and music-related events featuring: Girl Talk, Mission of Burma, Man Man, The Twilight Sad, The Dirty Projectors, Maritime, A Place To Bury Strangers, Parts & Labor, The Antlers, Ian MacKaye and many others.
