That whole Insane Clown Posse’s turn towards appreciation of life’s little wonders, aka the “Miracles” music video, just won’t quit. People are loving hating eating it up, and the meme seems endless. Or at least endless on an Internet time-scale.
Take the most recent episode of “Saturday Night Live.” The cast and writers did a great spoof on the video, even when “Miracles” mere existence begs the question, “can you top that joke?” It ain’t perfect, but the Thrilla Killa Klownz’s “Magical Mysteries” does a solid spin on the meme:

Obviously, the “SNL” writers picked up on the “I don’t want to talk to a scientist” and “fucking magnets, how do they work?” sub-memes from “Miracles” and ran with it, but the real gems in the “SNL” tune are those not as intricately tied to ICP’s “Miracles” as they are riffs off their own. “What’s with islands? Get more land! What’s with deserts? Get less sand!” Now there’s a fantastic lyric that just seems almost too perfect to be a spoof. Still, ICP’s “Miracles” wins out simply because their sincerity makes the entire song work. Still, not bad, “SNL,” not bad at all.
