Deep Elm, the independent label that came to fruition in the 90s and put a structured face on the then-still-ambiguous term “emo” with their “Emo Diaries” series, is giving away their newest emo-themed sampler for free online. It’s the “Emo Is Awesome/Emo Is Evil” compilation, in it’s second volume, and it’s available for a limited time. So check it out and grab yourself a copy before it’ll be too late for a nice collection of deep cuts from Deep Elm (The Appleseed Cast’s “Marigold and Patchwork”) and a boatload of new tracks to boot.
